“Thank you, Melanie, for allowing us to take this short break at Birdsong. The kids loved watching the train when we walked down to Carbis Beach – making dams by the “river”. Interacting with other children! The parents loved the views, fish n chips in St Ives at the Harbour Restaurant. We weren’t impressed with the thieving seagulls though. Tesco’s very handy. Love Carbis Beach. 🩶🩶. Today on our last full day we walked around and to Trencom Hill (NT) 9 mins drive away. We then drove to St Erth and walked from the church along the river Hayle and back. Both only 30 mins but very different scenery.”

Thank you, Melanie, for sharing your beautiful home with us for our first family holiday! We have loved every minute and been in want for nothing. The girls adore the house and loved the beautiful path down to the beach each day (even embracing a swim in March waters)! Hours of fun was had, and we have made memories we will treasure for a lifetime! We are very grateful.

Fabulous stay - the 4 of us LOVED the views and glorious St Ives! We could have been anywhere tropical with the beautiful colour s of the white sandy beaches and clear turquoise seas!

“Birdsong”

Four of us stayed in Birdsong, this huge comfortable house and had a lovely week. Well situated for St Ives which is a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the harbour.

The views from the house are splendid and the gardens, games (pool/table football/pingpong), washing/drying facilities were all well appreciated.

I suppose the ultimate question is would we stay again. The answer is YES!
